O evento foi fundado por causa de uma insatisfa\u00e7\u00e3o com os eventos de mang\u00e1 e anime e a falta de diversidade nas publica\u00e7\u00f5es comerciais da \u00e9poca. Muitos pontos de encontro de f\u00e3s de mang\u00e1 tendiam a ser tacanhos e mente fechada e as oportunidades para jovens autores de obras experimentais eram limitadas nas esferas comerciais. Assim, um grupo de estudos e cr\u00edtica de mang\u00e1 conhecido como Meikyu (&#8220;Labirinto&#8221;), estabeleceu um evento onde autores de mang\u00e1 e criadores de outras m\u00eddias poderiam compartilhar suas publica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">40 anos depois de sua funda\u00e7\u00e3o, a Comiket passou a abrigar uma m\u00e9dia de <strong>35 mil esp\u00edrito do evento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A feira j\u00e1 apareceu em diversos animes e mang\u00e1s centrados em personagens otaku, como <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Genshiken<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (com o nome Comifes), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lucky Star<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e mais recentemente em <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kiss Him, Not Me<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ( Watashi ga Motete D\u014dsunda) e <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wotakoi<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>A Comiket e o BL<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na Comiket os criadores independentes v\u00e3o tentar vender seus trabalhos, n\u00e3o apenas com a inten\u00e7\u00e3o de lucrar (at\u00e9 porque muitos saem no preju\u00edzo), mas principalmente para se expressar e ganhar visibilidade.\u00a0 Muitos artistas famosos como o pr\u00f3prio grupo CLAMP come\u00e7aram como desenhistas de doujinshi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">N\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel separar <strong>a hist\u00f3ria do Boy&#8217;s Love e da Comiket<\/strong>, j\u00e1 que a feira foi fundada por um grupo de estudantes f\u00e3s do trabalho de Hagio Moto, Keiko Takemiya (pioneiras do BL) e Yumiko Oshima, revelou in\u00fameros talentos profissionais e \u00e9 at\u00e9 apontada por alguns autores como o <\/span><b>local de origem do termo Yaoi.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img On Ice<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> explode e \u00e9 um dos t\u00edtulos mais procurado pelas mulheres e f\u00e3s de BL em 2017, perdendo espa\u00e7o apenas para <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Touken Ranbu<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Em 2018 e 2019 h\u00e1 uma queda nos doujinshis BL, embora os favoritos se mantenham presentes (e at\u00e9 hoje <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tiger &amp; Bunny<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00e9 um fandom expressivo que nunca deixou de aparecer nas listas).<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Touken Ranbu<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00e9 a franquia mais procurada pelas mulheres.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At\u00e9 2018, a feira era dividida em 3 dias, mas com o aumento do n\u00famero de participantes (chegando a 750 mil pessoas!), a partir de 2019 passaram a ser 4 dias de eventos, cada um dedicado a alguns tipos de fanart diferente para as barraquinhas de vendas\u00a0 (cosplay, BL, shonen, game).
